Hello, my name is Shavonne H. Burrows. This is my 15th year in the education field. I hold a Bachelor, Masters, and Educational Specialist degree in Elementary Education from Troy University. Currently, I am pursuing a doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Argosy University.

All About 6th Grade Science
Sixth grade will cover Earth and Space Science. We participate in Alabama Math, Science, Technology Institute (AMSTI), an inquiry based, hands-on approach to teaching math and science. The modules provided by AMSTI are: Understanding Weather and Climate, Exploring Plate Tectonics, Researching the Sun-Earth-Moon System and Exploring Planetary Systems. Our students will have the opportunity to become members and participate in the Coffee County 4-H Club onece a month. A 4-H Club representative will come and conduct a hands-on lesson with the students
